After 9 years of pastoring a certain church, I was told that my services where no longer needed and was asked to resign. And I did oblige. After months of fellowshipping and preaching sporadically throughout the city, the Lord ask, “What are you doing?” My response was, well I am not the pastor of that church anymore… The Lord response, “They didn’t call you to ministry; I did!” (And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth. I Samuel 3:10) Then, He began to let me hear folk still calling me “Pastor” (on the job, around family, amongst friends, and even from old church members). He reminded me of all the ministries I/we were still doing. So He directed me to First Samuel in the Holy Bible for answers and guidance.
So it was in January of 2011 that First Samuel Ministries was birth unto existence and later incorporated in July. We are a non-profit 5013c organization that seeks to save the lost at any cost! We continue to carry out God’s Word through preaching, teaching, encouraging, fasting, praying, living, and holding fast to His promises!
